Search Twitch clips by title

Enter a channel and a word from the clip title. ByteMate loads the channel's clips and shows every match – with views, length, date and a link to the VOD.

One channel per search – name or link.

Search runs on titles, broadcaster names, creator names and game titles.

Without dates, ByteMate searches the last 30 days first and goes back up to three years.

How the clip search works

  1. 1

    Pick a channel

Type the channel name or paste its Twitch link. One channel per search.

  2. 2

    Enter a search term

ByteMate checks clip titles, the clip creator and the game. Leave it empty to see the most-viewed clips of the last 30 days.

  3. 3

    Narrow down the time

Without dates, the search starts with the last 30 days and goes back up to three years until it finds a match. With dates, you search one specific stream.

Questions about the clip search

Can you search Twitch clips by title on Twitch?

Only your own. In the Clips Manager of your Creator Dashboard, Twitch searches the clips of your channel and the ones you made by title. On other channels, Twitch lists clips by popularity and time range only, without a title search. ByteMate loads the clips of any channel and filters them by your search term.

Do I need an account?

No. Without signing in, you search one channel at a time. Sign in with Twitch, and the Clip Finder in the ByteMate dashboard searches up to 10 channels at once with your own Twitch quota.

Which clips does the search cover?

Each search checks up to 800 clips from the selected time range, most-viewed first. For older or less-viewed clips, choose a shorter time range or use “Load more”.

Why doesn't a clip show up?

The search covers the time range shown above the results. If the clip is older, set the dates around the day of the stream. Deleted clips don't appear.

Is the clip search free?

Yes. Both the clip search here and the Clip Finder in the dashboard are free.
